I just ran across this jem of a video that reminded me of the greatness that each of us contain…sometimes we don’t even know it.
A little background before you view the video
On 17 March 2007, Paul Potts’s audition at the Wales Millennium Centre on Simon Cowell’s new show Britain’s Got Talent was televised. Paul sang Giacomo Puccini’s Nessun Dorma. This unassuming gentleman with a fantastic voice impressed the judges and received a standing ovation from the audience of 2,000 people. Potts’s rendition of this has currently been viewed on video upload site YouTube tens of millions of times and currently ranks among Youtube’s all-time most viewed videos.
